Difference between “setting” and “hardening” of concrete

Setting of concrete is normally a phenomenon that occurs after 2 hours of mixing of concrete. It is a stage in which concrete attains stiffness to retain to its shape.

Hardening of concrete is the phenomenon in which there is development of strength and after which only it can carry the intended loads.
